Prof. Dr. Ho Chee Cheong

Dr. Ho received his BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from the University of Malaya in 1968; MSc, PhD and DSc from the University of Bristol, England in 1969, 1972 and 1998 respectively. He was a former Professor and Head of Department of Chemistry, University of Malaya; Professor and Dean of Faculty of Applied Sciences, University AMIST. He was until recently the Vice-Chancellor of First City University College, Malaysia. Currently he is an Adjunct Professor of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia. His research interest is on rubber latex chemistry and technology, materials science with emphasis on green polymer and its applications. Dr. Ho is a Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry and its Past President. He is a Senior Fellow of the Academy of Sciences of Malaysia and a council member. He is also a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, England.  He sits on the Council of the Pacific Polymer Federation and is a founding member of the Asian Oceania Green and Sustainable Chemistry Network.
