Dr. Tran Thi Thuy Hoa

Dr. Tran Thi Thuy Hoa is the Head of Advisory Committee for Rubber Industry Development to support the development strategy of the Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA) and Vietnam rubber industry. VRA is a voluntary and not-for-profit organization operating since 2004, which represents legally enterprises and units in the Vietnam rubber industry or related sectors. VRA’s activities are to assist its members’ business activities, protecting its members’ legal rights and contributing to the sustainable rubber industry development. She was selected as Secretary General of the Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA) for 2 terms from 2004 – 2012. She continues to serve VRA as Office Manager from 2012 to 2015. She had 26 year experience in research at the Rubber Research Institute of Vietnam from 1979 – 2004 as a Plant Breeder and Deputy Director from 1995 – 2004 for projects of improving rubber productivity. She strongly promotes the relationships between VRA and national and international rubber organizations to exchange information on natural rubber industry towards measures to overcome current difficulties and sustainable development of the rubber industry and rubberwood market by relevant certification.
