Mr. Jamaluddin Nor Mohamad

Jamaluddin bin Nor Mohamad is the Chief Executive Officer of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad. He was appointed on 20 February 2017.Prior to his appointment, he was the Director of Islamic Capital Market of Bursa Malaysia Berhad, spearheading the expansion and development of products and services of the Islamic Capital Market, which include equities, liquidity management and fixed income, as well as Labuan International Financial Exchange. He is instrumental to the success in the development and establishment of Bursa Malaysia-i, the world’s first end-to-end Shariah investing platform. Jamaluddin brings with him over 25 years of experience in the banking industry in various capacities in Malaysia and abroad, including senior positions in Bumiputra Commerce Bank, Bank Simpanan Nasional and Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from University Putra Malaysia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Ohio University as well as a Certificate in Investment Management from Securitie­­s Institute, UK.
