Assoc. Prof. Dr. Charoen Nakason

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Charoen Nakason is the Vice President of Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He is also the Associate Professor in Polymer Technology and the Director of Excellence Center in Natural Rubber Technology. He has also received an extensive number of awards for his works in the rubber industry; Distinguished Researcher Award of Thailand in the field of Physical Science (Natural Rubber) and Mathematic from the office of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Best Science and Technology Award from Thailand Toray Science Foundation, Best Research Award of Natural Rubber Project, Thailand Research Fund (TRF) for research project entitled “Rubber Adhesive based on Graft Copolymer of Natural Rubber and Methyl Methacrylate” among many others. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Charoen has also published numerous publications during his career time; Rheological and Curing Behaviour of Reactive Blending, I Maleated Natural Rubber-Cassava Starch, the Grafting of Maleic Anhydride onto Natural Rubber, Polym Test, and Rheological Behavior of Reactive Blending of ENR-Cassava Starch and ENR-NR-Cassava Starch among other 170 publications.
