Dr. Supramaniam

Dr. Supramaniam is the Managing Director of Bonric Sdn Bhd, an entity that specialises in the manufacture of Cleanroom Class 10 and Class 100 gloves. He is the pioneer of the cleanroom gloves industry in Malaysia and has been at it for the past 25 years He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours), from University of Science Malaysia, Masters and Doctorate from the Southern Cross University, Australia. He is the Vice President of Malaysian Rubber Gloves Manufacturers Association (MARGMA) as well as the Vice President of the Asean Rubber Gloves Manufacturers Association (ARGMA). He’s also an Alumni of the Cranfield School of Management, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK, and an Associate of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry. He sits on the Expertise Committee of the Masters of Rubber Technology Program of the Malaysian Agriculture University and is Board member of Malaysian Rubber Board’s, Scientific and Economic Advisory Council (SEAC) as well as Board member of the Malaysian Rubber Exchange. He is the Malaysian industry expert on the ISO TC45 Technical Committee. He is also an Expert member of the Asean Consultative Committee on Standards and Quality (ACCSQ), for Rubber based products. His passion for “Industry Driven Quality” has seen him work on numerous Quality initiatives for the benefit of the industry as a whole. Currently, he is the Global Project Leader for the development of the ISO standards for Cleanroom Latex Gloves as well as a second project on ISO standards for Cleanroom Synthetic gloves. Prior to his foray into the glove industry, he has served in various senior Quality and Technical positions with the Guinness(UK) and Heineken (Holland) Group, both in Malaysia and overseas, for 10 years.
